Dorfern is a locality and cadastral community in the market town of Böheimkirchen , Lower Austria.

The village of Dorfern is located five kilometers southwest of Böheimkirchen, south of the West Autobahn and can be reached via the L5049 state road and side roads. Siebenhirten is further east . On January 1st, 2020 the village had 23 inhabitants. In the Franziszeischen cadastre of 1821, villages are listed as a street village with several rural properties.
