History and architecture

The elongated, rectangular nave was probably built in field stone in the first half of the 14th century . The choir , which is only slightly wider, and the sacristy on the north side were also built in brick at this time . The outside of the choir is decorated with corner pilasters , the buttresses were added later. The wooden tower with a protruding pyramid roof was placed in front of the building in the 18th century. The building can be entered through a portal on the south side and through the original west portal in the tower. Another portal in the south side is walled up. The gables of the choir and the sacristy were renewed at the same time as the top of the wall in the 18th century. The east wall is divided by a three-part pointed arch window. The two choir bays are vaulted with ribbed vaults, and a flat ceiling has been drawn into the nave. The nave and the choir are separated from each other by a pointed triumphal arch . In the interior there is a circumferential gallery .
