Village church Lindenkreuz
The Protestant village church Lindenkreuz is located in the municipality of Lindenkreuz in the Greiz district in Thuringia . It belongs to the parish of Münchenbernsdorf in the Gera parish of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .
history
The church's bronze bell was cast in 1497, so the first church must have existed a few years earlier. A tombstone of Anna Kreutz , who died young, has been preserved from 1580.
In 1744 the new village church was built using older building remains. The last renovation was in 1986/87.

The nave is covered with a hipped gable roof . The interior has three-sided, two-storey galleries on the long sides . The choir is closed off by the pulpit altar with a gallery facing the nave .
