The Evangelical Lutheran , listed village church Rehungen is located in Rehungen , a district of the Sollstedt community in the Nordhausen district in Thuringia . The parish Rehungen belongs to the parish area Sollstedt in Kirchenkreis Südharz the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The district of Rehungen is characterized by the half-timbered church built in 1776 . The hall church stands on a foundation made of rubble stones . The nave is covered with a hipped roof, from which a roof tower rises in the east , which carries a pyramid roof . The interior has galleries on the long sides and is covered with a wooden barrel vault. The church furnishings include a pulpit altar from the time it was built. The organ with 7 registers , divided into a manual and a pedal , was built by Friedrich Christian Knauf around 1830 .
