After four seasons in Divizia B, he was promoted to League 1 in 2007 . There, the team rose again in the 2007/08 season .
Goga had made the competition aware of himself through good performances, so that he moved to a Romanian top club, FC Timișoara , after relegation . In the first year he reached the runner-up and was able to qualify for the Champions League , where the club was eliminated by VfB Stuttgart . Two years later he won the runner-up again with his club behind Oțelul Galați . However, his club was not approved for the 2011/12 season and had to compete in League II. There he was able to finish the season in first place, but the club waived promotion. In summer 2012 he moved to Rapid Bucharest . Half a year later he was drawn to Hapoel Ramat Gan in Israel.
In the summer of 2013, Dinamo Tbilisi from Georgia signed him. There he won the Georgian championship in the 2013/14 season . In July 2014 he moved to Harbin Yiteng in the Chinese Super League , but left the club two weeks later to return to newly promoted ASA Târgu Mureș in his home country. With his new club he reached the runner-up in 2015 . He then left the club to ACS Poli Timișoara . With the newcomer, he just managed to stay in the class.
