Dorina Pieper (born June 25, 1970 in Lüdenscheid ) is a former German biathlete .

Dorina Pieper was a member of the German national biathlon team in the late 1980s and early 1990s. As a junior she won the relay title with Martina Stede and Petra Schaaf at the Junior World Championships in 1989 in Voss , in the team competition she was second with both of them and won bronze in the sprint.

In 1987 she took part in the biathlon world championships for the first time in Lahti and was 40th in the individual and 42nd in sprint races. In 1989 in Feistritz an der Drau a 19th place in the individual, a fourth place in the relay race with Stede and Schaaf and winning the bronze medal in the team competition behind the Soviet Union and Bulgaria with fellow campaigners Inga Kesper , Daniela Hörburger and Schaaf. In 1990 she was again 16th in the individual in Minsk . In the biathlon world cup , Pieper achieved several good results among the top ten. The best results were sixth places in 1988 at Holmenkollen in Oslo and 1989 in Östersund . In 1991/92 she took second place in the overall ranking of the Biathlon European Cup behind her teammate Michaela Hermann . In 1989 Pieper became German individual champion.

Pieper lives in Lüdenscheid in the Sauerland and works as a master goldsmith and designer of jewelry and equipment.
