Doris Bethe

Doris Bethe , married Oberbeck (born September 18, 1933 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German gymnast .

Life

Doris Oberbeck is the daughter of the physiologist Albrecht Bethe from the second marriage and half-sister of the Physics Nobel Prize winner Hans Bethe .

Bethe started for TSV Sachsenhausen in 1857 , was the German gymnastics festival winner in the eight-fight in 1953 and took part in the 1954 gymnastics world championships in Rome, where she finished 48th in the individual ranking. She married the athlete and later decathlon national coach Heinz Oberbeck . She graduated as a qualified sports teacher at the German Sport University Cologne and has lived in Neuwied / Rhein since 1964 . Oberbeck has two daughters and a son from his marriage to Heinz Oberbeck.
