Dr. Living Dead! is a Swedish thrash metal band from Stockholm . The band is signed to High Roller Records and has released four studio albums. A trademark of the band are the skull - masks bearing the members.

history

The band was formed in 2007 and got its name from an experiment by the United States government . With the help of toxic waste and two brains , a super soldier was to be created. When the experiment failed, the test subject was deported into space and began a campaign of revenge from there. Still in its first year, the band released their first demo Thrash After Death , whose title is a tribute to the live album Live After Death by Iron Maiden is supposed to represent.

The second demo, Thrashing the Law , followed a year later , in which drummer Dr. Ape switched to singing. Successor on drums was Dr. New drummer, who a year later from Dr. Dawn was relieved. Eventually the band was signed by High Roller Records, who released the self-titled debut album in 2011. The album was produced by former Dismember drummer Fred Estby .

Dr. Living Dead! played a European tour with Evile and Portrait . In 2012 the band played at the Rock Hard Festival before recording their second studio album, Radioactive Intervention . Within two weeks, the album was produced again by Fred Estby. The German magazine Metal Hammer chose Radioactive Intervention as album of the month.
