Dragan Stevanović (born August 16, 1971 in Belgrade) is a former Serbian football player .
Career
In 1997 Stevanović moved from his home country from FK Rad Belgrade to Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg in Germany. In the system of coach Willi Reimann , storm colleague Stefan Meissner was set, so that Stevanović usually only had the opportunity to contribute as a supplementary player. He completed 15 missions, each time he was substituted on and off seven times. He contributed with a goal to reach the 14th place in the final table. The wolves secured the league with one point ahead.
For Stevanović, the 1998/99 season opened into a new chapter in his professional career. He moved to the 2nd Bundesliga for FC St. Pauli . He played six games for Hamburg and scored two goals. After the season he moved to his old club FK Rad Belgrade for six months, after which he played for a year at Red Star Belgrade , including in the Champions League qualification and the UEFA Cup . He then returned to FK Rad Belgrade for a year. He then played for Apollon Smyrnis and FK Radnički Obrenovac .
