occupation

Drunken Master (English: Drunken Master II , other titles see below) is an action and martial arts film with Jackie Chan, shot in Hong Kong in 1994 . It's after you called him Bone Breaker the second part of the Drunken Masters series.

action

Wong Fei Hung is on a train with his father and friends when he sees an old Manchurian officer rummaging through strange suitcases. When he tries to confront the old man, he flees under the standing train, where the two of them fight. The fight comes to an end when Hung's train leaves and he escapes the officer. When it is already too late, they both notice a mix-up: Hung has the old man's package which contains an old jade seal and he has Hung's ginseng.

When the two meet again a little later, it turns out that the officer of a gang around a corrupt English diplomat who want to move old cultural goods out of the country is on the heels. When Hung and the officer meet in a tea house, the two are attacked by the diplomat's henchmen, and Wong Fei Hung just manages to escape while the old man is killed. Thereupon Wong Fei Hung and his allies go to the hideout of the gangsters, a steelworks, where the big final battle takes place, which the protagonist can win thanks to his drunken boxing and lots of alcohol.

criticism

"The initially parodistic attitude of the film soon changes and is overlaid by a dull, brutal atmosphere, whereby the whole film looks like a single vehicle for Kung Fu old master Jackie Chan."
