Janub al-Batina

Janub al-Batina ( Arabic جنوب الباطنة, DMG Ǧanūb al-Bāṭina  'South al-Batina'; until 2011 part of al-Batina ) is one of the eleven governorates of Oman .

The Janub al-Batina region is 5323.11 km² in size, comprises 6 Wilayat and had 289,008 inhabitants at the 2010 census. The Wilayat are: al-Masnaʿa , Awabi , Barka , Nachl , Wadi al-Maʿawil and the capital Rustaq .
