Dsmitryj Nikulenkau ( Belarusian Дзмітрый Нікуленкаў ; Russian Дмитрий Никуленков / Dmitri Nikulenkow; English Dzmitry Nikulenkau * 12. July 1984 in Minsk , Byelorussian SSR , USSR ) is a Belarusian handball player who mostly on rear center of the room is used.
Career
The 1.88 m tall and 90 kg heavy right-handed player began playing handball in his hometown near Polytechnik Minsk. He then played for Arkatron Minsk , where he also made his debut in the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2002/03. At the end of the season he was able to celebrate the championship and the cup. From the 2004/05 season he ran in Poland for KS Kielce . His most successful season was there in 2005/06 when he won the cup and reached the quarter-finals in the EHF Cup .
In 2008 he returned to his homeland to HC Dinamo Minsk . With Dinamo he won five other championships and two cup wins. Internationally, he made it to the quarter-finals of the EHF Cup 2011/12 and the second round of the EHF Champions League 2012/13 . After the failure of several sponsors, Minsk withdrew from all competitions in February 2014 and released all players. Nikulenkau then moved to Brest GK Meschkow , with whom he won the championship and the Belarusian Cup in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. In the summer of 2018 he joined league rivals SKA Minsk .
With the Belarusian national team , Dzmitryj Nikulenkau took part in the 2013 World Cup and the 2014 European Championship . So far, he has played 116 international matches in which he scored 198 goals.
