Dub Taylor (born February 26, 1907 in Richmond , Virginia , † October 3, 1994 in Los Angeles ), actually Clarence Taylor, Jr. , was an American actor .

Life

Taylor grew up in Augusta , Georgia . He made his film debut in 1938 in Frank Capra's Lebenskünstler , the following year he also had a small role in the James Stewart classic Mr. Smith Goes to Washington . In the following 10 years he played the character Cannonball in over 50 westerns .
