The Duzon is a river in France that runs in the Ardèche department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises on the municipal boundary of Boffres and Vernoux-en-Vivarais , drains in many bends in the river generally north-east to north, passes the narrow Cuves du Duzon gorge with its picturesque rock formations in its mouth section and flows after 32 kilometers at the hamlet of Pont de Duzon , in the municipality from Saint-Barthélemy-le-Plain , but close to the border with the neighboring municipality of Tournon-sur-Rhône , as a right tributary into the Doux . The road into the Doux valley spans the mouth of the Duzon with a viaduct of eight bridge arches 50 meters high, built in the 1870s.
