Dynamite Deluxe was a band of the three Hamburg hip-hop artists Samy Deluxe ( MC ), Tropf (Beats & Sound) and DJ Dynamite (Beats & DJ ). The name Dynamite Deluxe is a combination of the name DJ Dynamite and that of the rapper Samy Deluxe .
history
Even before Dynamite Deluxe was founded, Samy Deluxe and DJ Dynamite made music together under the name No Nonsens . Later they took on drip as an additional band member and changed the band name to Dynamite Deluxe.
In 1997 the three released their demo tape , which is difficult to find today. The Classic Vinyl Files CD , released in 1999, combined all the pieces from the previous vinyl singles. In 2000 the album Deluxe Soundsystem followed . They also released another EP at this time , which also included a collaboration with Patrice . At the end of 2000, the Dynamite Deluxe project was terminated for the time being. DJ Dynamite & Tropf still produce tracks for Samy Deluxe and run the label Deluxe Records with him .
In 2001 the group was awarded the ECHO in the Hip-Hop / R & B category by the German Phono Academy nationally .
In 2004 Samy Deluxe released his solo album Verdammtnochma! the song Pures Gift 2004 . In the album's booklet, Dynamite Deluxe is specified as the producer. The song Pures Gift was released as vinyl 12inch in 1997 and reissued in 2004.
In 2008, the Juice CD # 82 included with the January / February issue of Juice contained exclusively and exclusively the songs from the 2000 Dynamite Deluxe album Deluxe Soundsystem , which were reinterpreted by various artists.
On January 25, 2008, the comeback album TNT was released, which, like Deluxe Soundsystem from 2000, includes a guest contribution by Jan Delay . The album entered the German album charts at number 5 in the first week. The first single was called Dynamit! . The second single was called Everything stays different . In addition, 10,000 DVDs were sold for the album. This is called Track by Track and shows the making-of for the videos, the creation of the tracks and the TNT cover .
In February 2008 Dynamite Deluxe were on a so-called TNT tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland together with D-Flame .
After they announced their renewed separation, they played their farewell concert on November 7th, 2008 in Große Freiheit 36 in St. Pauli.
