Deluxe Soundsystem is the first studio album by the German hip-hop group Dynamite Deluxe . It was released on March 26, 2000 on the labels Eimsbush , Buback and EMI and is considered to be one of the most important and influential German-language hip-hop albums. As a result of the album's release, Dynamite Deluxe was named National Hip Hop Act of the Year at the 2001 Echo Awards.

In addition to Dynamite Deluxe, other artists are involved in five songs on the album. So is the Hamburg rapper Das Bo on Samy Deluxe Pt. 2 while Jan Delay sings the chorus of the song Grüne Brille . The reggae singer Patrice has a guest appearance on the song Lots of Signs and the rapper Dendemann is represented on DD in the house . In addition, D-Flame appears on the title track Deluxe Soundsystem .

The album entered the German charts at number 4 in the 15th calendar week of 2000 and was at number 8 the following week, before climbing again to position 4 and then leaving the top 10.
