SchwarzWeiss is the fourth solo album by the Hamburg rapper Samy Deluxe . It was released on July 29, 2011 via the EMI label as a standard and deluxe edition.
marketing
On June 16, 2011 Samy Deluxe announced his new studio album SchwarzWeiss on his homepage . Before and during the release of the album, the rapper posted 13 short videos called Acapella of the Week and four videos with the motto One Take Wonder on the Internet at regular intervals .
Cover design
The album cover is in black and white to match the title. It shows a side drawing of Samy Deluxe's head. The words SamyDeluxe and SchwarzWeiss are in black in the two upper corners of the picture .
Guest Posts
In addition to Samy Deluxe, other artists appear on only two songs on the album. The chorus of the song Back to Wir is sung by rapper Max Herre . In the track Father in Heaven , J-Luv sings the chorus. The jazz band DUS-TI took part in several tracks on the album.

The album went straight to number 1 in the German charts in the 33rd calendar week of 2011, with which the rapper managed to reach the top position for the first time. In the weeks that followed, SchwarzWeiss was ranked 3rd and 4th. Overall, the record stayed in the top 100 for 14 weeks. In the 2011 German annual charts, the album was ranked 79th.
Hands Up , Poetry Album and Back to Us were released as singles .
Golden record
In 2014, SchwarzWeiss received a gold record in Germany for more than 100,000 copies sold .
