The Wkra in Strzegowo |

The Wkra is a right tributary of the Narew in north-eastern Poland . It rises near Neidenburg (Nidzica) in the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship and flows essentially in a southerly direction in its 249 km long course to its confluence with the Narew in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki shortly before its confluence with the Vistula . Its catchment area is given as 5322 km².
In the upper reaches of Neidenburg up to the confluence of the Skottau (Szkotówka) the river is called Neide (Nida) ; in the area of Soldau it is called Soldau (Działdówka) .
