The EREMA Group GmbH is an Austrian company for plastic recycling , headquartered in Ansfelden . With an export quota of 98.2 percent, consolidated sales for the 2019/20 financial year total over 200 million euros. With branches in the USA, China, Russia and South Africa as well as around 50 agencies, more than 600 employees work for the company.
history
In 1983 the company EREMA (Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen) GmbH was founded, which specialized in the development and production of plastics recycling systems and technologies. The patented, procedural arrangement of the cutter / compactor in combination with the directly connected extruder screw was decisive for the company's success . In 1986 the company headquarters was relocated to Ansfelden (Austria). In 1991 the EREMA North America branch was founded in Ipswich , Massachusetts . EREMA also founded the sister company 3S in 1991, based in Roitham am Traunfall (Austria). In 1993 the patent application for TVE-Technologie took place, in which the melt filtration was arranged before the extruder degassing. In 1996 VACUREMA technology was developed. In 2001 EREMA set up a branch in Shanghai . In 2010, EREMA patented the Counter Current system, which is used in various systems. In 2012 the EREMA Customer Center was opened at the company headquarters in Ansfelden. Seven plastics recycling systems are presented there on 1,200 m², which are available for customers and interested parties for material tests. In 2015 another branch was founded in Russia . In the same year the sister company PURE LOOP was founded. In spring 2016, UMAC, the EREMA Group's third sister company, was founded. In 2018, the majority of the Italian company Plasmac was acquired - the remaining company shares are held by the Syncro Group. And in 2019, the former business unit of EREMA Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen GmbH, Keycycle GmbH, was converted into its own company.

EREMA Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen Gesellschaft mbH
EREMA produces recycling systems and core technologies at its headquarters in Ansfelden. With these all thermoplastic plastics such as PE , PP , PET , PS , ABS , PA , PC , biopolymers or compounds in the form of foils , regrind, hollow bodies, foam , fibers or tapes can be processed into recyclates.

3 S worms + spindles + spirals machining company mbH
3S, founded in 1991, is a production company with a focus on the production of core parts for the extrusion sbranche and oil industries (u. A. Screw , cylinder , feed sections). The company employs around 70 people. In addition to the headquarters in Roitham, 3S has had a second production site in St. Barbara (Austria) since 2010 . 3S specializes in the manufacture of highly wear-protected units in the extruder screw sector.
PURE LOOP GesmbH
PURE LOOP deals with the recycling of clean production waste using shredder-extruder technology. The ISEC evo shredder-extruder technology is designed for the regranulation of production waste such as foils, tapes, fibers, fleeces, fabrics, hollow bodies or solid plastic parts.
UMAC GmbH
UMAC's services include valuation, repurchase, processing, sale and commissioning of used recycling systems and components. Thanks to the close cooperation with the sister companies EREMA, 3S and PURE LOOP, a traceable system history of the machine can be guaranteed.
PLASMAC Srl
On January 1, 2019, the Austrian EREMA Group took over 60 percent of the recycling machine manufacturer PLASMAC Srl and thus expanded its range of customized plastic recycling solutions for in-house applications. The Italy-based SYNCRO Group holds the remaining 40 percent of the recycling machine manufacturer.
KeyCycle GmbH
Keycycle's offering includes total solutions for plastics recycling projects. These include u. a. Engineering and integration services, feasibility studies, factory and logistics planning and project management.
