The EWHL Super Cup 2019 is the ninth edition of the EWHL Super Cup . The competition in ice hockey of the women was from the Elite Women's Hockey League organized (EWHL).

Mode and participants

The nine participating teams played everyone against everyone in a single round . There were three points for a win; for a victory after overtime ( Sudden Victory Overtime ) or penalty shootout , the winner received two points, the loser one.

The best four teams in the single round qualified for the final tournament of the Super Cup on the weekend of November 30th to December 1st, 2019.

Final tournament

The four best-placed teams KMH Budapest, ECDC Memmingen, ESC Planegg and MAC Budapest qualified for the final tournament in Budapest. After the ECDC Memmingen withdrew, the women of the EHV Sabers Vienna took their place .

In the final tournament, host KMH Budapest and the German representative ESC Planegg reached the final, in which KMH Budapest was able to prevail in the penalty shootout.

Despite second place in the main round, Memmingen only reached 5th place due to the withdrawal from the final tournament.
