Eagle-Eye Cherry

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eagle-Eye Lanoo Cherry (born May 7, 1968 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish musician .

Life

Eagle-Eye Cherry is the son of jazz trumpeter Don Cherry and the Swedish painter Monika Karlsson. He has an older maternal half-sister, Neneh Cherry . The singer Titiyo is not - as often wrongly claimed - his half-sister, but the half-sister on the paternal side of his half-sister, and thus his stepsister. Cherry grew up in Sweden and was sent to a music school in New York City when she was twelve . There he worked as a drummer in various bands. At the age of 28 he released his debut album Desireless , which includes the hits Save Tonight and Falling in Love Again . Save Tonight was a worldwide success.
