Earshot is an alternative metal band around the singer Wil Martin from Los Angeles , California . According to their own statements, the band's music is inspired and influenced by famous groups such as Black Sabbath , Metallica , AC / DC and The Beatles .

history

In 1999 Wil Martin and Scott Kohler formed the band Earshot. Shortly thereafter, Johnny Sprague and Mike Callahan also joined. The debut album Letting Go was released in 2003 on Warner Bros. Records , which also contained the song Get Away , which was often played on the radio and ultimately led to success. In addition, the song Headstrong appeared in the movie Queen of the Damned . The numbers Get Away and Headstrong could also be heard in the video game Legends of Wrestling 2 . After several months of touring with Staind , Kid Rock and the Stone Temple Pilots , the band released their first maxi CD for the song Get Away , which landed at number 20 on the American Billboard .

Two was the band's second album, which, like its predecessor, was released in 2004 on Warner Bros. Records. It featured the song Wait , which was then sold as a single and was included in the tracklist of the video games MX vs. ATV Unleashed and Madden NFL 2005 was included. It was also on the DVD Tampa Bay Lightning from the Stanley Cup to hear. In early 2007 the band signed a record deal with In De Goot , whereupon they went to the music studio to record their third album The Silver Lining , which they released the following year. The songs MisSunderstood and The Ugly Truth were released a little later as a maxi CD.
