The Eau Blanche in Virelles

The Eau Blanche is a river in Belgium that runs in the Wallonia region . It rises from the lake Étang de la Fourchinée , near Seloignes , in the municipality of Momignies . The river generally drains eastwards, joins the Eau Noire around 33 kilometers northeast of Nismes , in the municipality of Viroinval , and thus forms the Viroin river , which flows into the Meuse on French territory . On its way, the Eau Blanche touches the Belgian provinces of Hainaut and Namur and the French Ardennes department .
