The Ebach is a left brook of the Pinnau . It rises in Henstedt-Ulzburg on the border with Ellerau and flows under the federal motorway 7 towards the west. Besides Henstedt-Ulzburg and Ellerau, it also flows a short distance through Alveslohe . In the further course the Ebach flows under the Landesstraße 234 (Alvesloher Straße) and flows left into the Pinnau in northern Ellerau. The source area was originally in Alveslohe, but after being reunified it is now in Henstedt-Ulzburg.
