geography

course

The Eberbach rises in the Odenwald in two spring branches at an altitude of about 504  m above sea level. NHN in a mixed forest area of the Rodensteiner Burgwald , west of Reichelsheim , on the southern slope of the Rimdidim ( 498.5  m above sea level ). After the union of the two spring branches, it flows in a south-westerly direction through the forest and then changes into a grassland zone. There it receives an inflow from a small forest stream. Its course now leads westwards through a meadow landscape. After being strengthened by two meadow streams, it changes its direction of flow to the southwest. Shortly before it reaches the northern edge of Reichelsheim, it is fed by another meadow stream. In Reichelsheim it disappears piped underground and finally flows west of Konrad-Adenauer-Allee at an altitude of about 211  m above sea level. NHN in the Mergbach .
