Eberhard Doege

Eberhard Ewald Alfred Doege (born August 18, 1910 in Kulm ; † June 20, 1999 in Tübingen ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

The son of a Regierungsbauinspektors and Ministry Council, studied Doege after visiting the school in Kulm, the reform school in Szczytno and the secondary school in Opole law in Halle and Berlin . During his studies he became a member of the Germania Halle fraternity in 1929 . From 1930 to 1932 he was a member of the Stahlhelm and the Nazi law enforcement association. From 1933 to 1934 he was a Rottenführer member of the Sturmabteilung , later in 1942 he was SA-Sturmführer ; he was legal advisor to Standarte 18 Berlin-Schöneberg. In 1933 he took part in the Nazi Party in part and joined the Nazi Party . After his exams in 1933 and 1938, he worked as an assessor and main referee for mercy matters at Hitler's chancellery and from 1939 he was the head of the NSDAP's Reich auxiliary agency in Hitler's chancellery. In the Second World War , he took part as a reserve lieutenant from 1939 to 1940 . In 1941 he became a councilor in the Reich Ministry of the Interior. He then worked from 1943 to 1945 as a district administrator in the Mogilno district . From 1945 to 1953 he was a prisoner of war . He became a member of the CDU and worked at the Osterode am Harz district office and the Freudenstadt district office. In 1959 he became a senior councilor and in July 1960 first mayor of Tübingen , where he was confirmed after eight years for a further term of twelve years. In 1961 he became an honorary member of the Strasbourg fraternity Arminia zu Tübingen . In 1974 he retired.
