Eberhard Schorsch
Eberhard Schorsch (born December 30, 1935 in Leipzig ; † November 14, 1991 in Hamburg ) was a German doctor , psychiatrist and sex researcher .
Life
From 1970 until his death, Schorsch was director of the Institute for Sexual Research, Sexual Medicine and Forensic Psychiatry at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). In teaching and research, Schorsch dealt with people who were accused or convicted of crimes against sexual self-determination . In addition, from 1982 to 1985 he was chairman of the German Society for Sexual Research (DGfS) and in 1988 co-founder and editor of the “Zeitschrift für Sexualforschung”.
