Ed Moran (long distance runner)
Ed Moran (born May 27, 1981 ) is an American long-distance runner .
In 2007 he won the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro over 5000 m .
In 2008 he did not reach the finish line at the World Cross Country Championships in Edinburgh and narrowly missed participation in the Olympic Games in Beijing as fourth over 10,000 m in the US eliminations .
The following year he came in 60th place at the 2009 Cross Country World Championships in Amman.
In 2011 he finished tenth in the New York City Marathon and in 2012 he finished 18th in the New York City Half Marathon .
