The Edag Production Solutions GmbH & Co. KG (proper spelling: EDAG Production Solutions) is an internationally active full-service provider in the production engineering unit based in Fulda , Hessen . As a 100% subsidiary of Edag Engineering GmbH, Edag Production Solutions is part of the Edag Group, which is the world's largest independent development partner to the automotive industry . In 2012, Edag Production Solutions GmbH & Co. KG was founded with a focus on product and production development and the associated name of Edag Production Solutions GmbH & Co. KG as a 100% subsidiary of Edag.
history
In 2014, the division and the Feynsinn brand were integrated and the service portfolio was expanded to include consulting-related services for CAD / digital factory and visualization / VR. With effect from April 30, 2015, the operative business of iSILOG GmbH, Baden-Baden was acquired. The business field lies in the provision of software solutions and services related to production and logistics systems. On July 3, 2017, the Edag Group acquired a total of 100% of the shares in CKGP / PW Associates, Inc., based in the USA. The target company offers services in the areas of conveyor technology / paint shop planning, material flow and logistics planning, as well as manufacturing and process engineering. The goodwill was fully allocated to the “Production Solutions” division.
