Edda Ceccoli

Edda Ceccoli (born June 27, 1947 in Montegiardino ) is a San Marinese politician . She was from October 1, 1991 to April 1, 1992 one of the two Capitani Reggenti (heads of state) of San Marino .

Edda Ceccoli is a member of the Partito Democratico Cristiano Sammarinese (PDCS). In 1984 she became mayor (Capitano del Giunte) of Faetano . Ceccoli was elected to the Consiglio Grande e Generale , the San Marinese parliament, in 1988. From 1988 to 1992 the PDCS together with the Partito Comunista Sammarinese (PCS) provided the government. For the election period from October 1, 1991 to April 1, 1992, Edda Ceccoli was elected together with Marino Riccardi (PCS) as Capitano Reggente , the head of state of San Marino. In 1992 the PCS left the government and was replaced by the Partito Socialisto Sammarinese until the end of the legislative period .

In the following legislative period from 1993 to 1998, Ceccoli was again a member of parliament. She did not run for the next three parliamentary elections in 1998, 2001 and 2006. From 2000 to 2002 she was Segretario Particolare in the Ministry of Health.

From 2005 to 2007 Ceccoli was President of the Central Committee (Presidente del Consiglio Centrale) of the PDCS. In the parliamentary elections in 2008 she moved back into parliament. She became a member of the Justice Committee and took over the chairmanship after Tito Masi left the company. After this legislative period, she no longer ran for parliament.
