Eddie Calvo
Eddie Baza Calvo (* 29. August 1961 in Tamuning , Guam ) is a politician of the Republican Party of Guam.
His father is former Guam Governor Paul McDonald Calvo . After finishing school in Guam, Calvo studied economics at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California. After graduating, he worked in the private sector as general manager of the Pacific Construction Company and then as vice president and general manager of the Pepsi Bottling Company in Guam.
On November 2, 2010, Calvo won the gubernatorial election in Guam against former Democratic incumbent Carl TC Gutierrez . In January 2011 he succeeded Felix Perez Camacho in the office of governor. Its lieutenant governor is Ray Tenorio . In 2014, Calvo was confirmed in office. This enabled him to take on another four-year term.
Calvo is married to Christine Lujan Sonido and has six children.
