Eddie Thoneick (* 1978 in Straelen ) is a German house producer and DJ .

life and career

At the age of 15 he won a DJ competition in the Tribehouse in Neuss , which made him the resident DJ of the club's after-hours . In the following years he played regularly in the casino in Duisburg and in the Flamingo in Essen . In 1999 he started producing house music himself and was booked nationwide. His first remixes for artists like Roger Sanchez , Steve Angello or Sebastian Ingrosso were released on DJ Antoine's labels Egoïste and Houseworks . He had his biggest hit in 2006: Together with Kurd Maverick , he produced a house version of the 1980s number one hit Love Sensation by Loleatta Holloway . Since then, there have been an increasing number of requests for remixes and bookings from all over the world. Since 2010 he has been cooperating with the American Erick Morillo , who has been one of the most famous house DJs for over ten years and who had his breakthrough with the hit "I Like To Move It" with the Reel 2 Real project . In particular, the two releases "Live Your Life (Be Free)" and "Stronger" became global successes. In addition to regular appearances in Ibiza , he has since toured Europe in Australia, the USA, Asia and South America.

In addition to his work as a music producer and DJ, Eddie Thoneick has been working as a dentist since 2006.
