The Edelweißlahnerkopf , also called Edelweißlahner , is a 1953  m high peripheral peak of the Reiter Alm in the Berchtesgaden Alps . From the east, from the Ramsau , the mountain shows itself as a peak rising clearly from the ridge with a steep rock flank traversed by mountain pines. Viewed from the west, from the plateau of the Reiter Alm, the Edelweißlahnerkopf is an inconspicuous hilltop covered with mountain pines.

From the Neue Traunsteiner Hütte a marked path leads in 2 to 2.5 hours in easy, but arduous up and down to the summit with a cross.

The view from the Edelweißlahnerkopf is completely free to the west, north and east. In the southeast, the west face of the Watzmann and the Hochkalter towering directly on the opposite side of the valley dominate the panorama. When visibility is good, the Großglockner can be seen exactly in the south . The neighboring Schottmalhorn blocks the view to the southwest . Particularly impressive is the view from the Edelweißlahnerkopf to the Hintersee, 1164 m below, and into the Ramsau .
