Eden Sher

Eden Rebecca Sher (born December 26, 1991 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress , best known for her role as Sue Heck in the series The Middle .

Career

Sher played the role of Gretchen in eight episodes in the television series Weeds in 2006 , for which she was nominated at the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2007 along with the rest of the cast in the category Best Acting Ensemble - Comedy . From 2006 to 2007 she starred in eleven episodes in the series Sons & Daughters .

Sher then had various guest roles in television series. She starred in an episode of OC, California in 2007 and starred in an episode of The Middleman in 2008 . In 2009 she appeared in one episode each of Sonny Munroe and Party Down . From 2009 to 2018 she took on the lead role Sue Heck in the comedy series The Middle , the daughter of Mike Heck ( Neil Flynn ) and Frankie Heck ( Patricia Heaton ). For this role, she was in the Young Artist Awards 2010 in the category Best recurring actress in a television series , and in 2011 , together with Charlie McDermott and Atticus Shaffer , who embody their brothers in the series in the category Outstanding Ensemble in a TV series nominated.
