action

1880, in northern Mexico: Reese O'Brien is falsely accused of murdering his wife; he flees and finds work as a foreman on General Camargo's estate. He is a reliable and prudent cowboy; Marta, the general's daughter, toying with the seedy Alfonso Riaño. When the general is on his way to advertise his candidacy for governor, Reese is kidnapped by the gangster Espada, because they believe they can take action against Camargo's candidacy. It is true that he succeeds in breaking free; however, new hardship looms when Alfonso is found murdered. Reese is able to explain that Alfonso was shot by his uncle, Don Cristabel. He can overwhelm the guilty party, even eliminate Espada, and ends up with Francisca Riaño, who was faithful to the general, as a woman.
