Edith Hellermann

Edith Hellermann , nee Schiefler , (born August 29, 1895 in Schermcke near Wanzleben , † June 17, 1974 in Kassel ) was a German politician ( GB / BHE ).

Life and work

After attending the community school and their wedding in 1925, Hellermann lived as a housewife in Stettin .

After the Second World War , Hellermann moved to West Germany as a displaced person and settled in Kassel . There she participated in the establishment of the Association of Displaced Persons and was elected its first district chairman.

Political party

After the BHE was founded, Hellermann joined the GB / BHE and was elected to the party's Hessian state executive.

MPs

Hellermann was a council member for the city ​​of Kassel from 1952 to 1954 . From 1953 to 1957 she was a member of the State Welfare Association of Hesse (LWV). She was a member of the Hessian state parliament from 1950 to 1954.

Public offices

Hellermann served as a full-time city councilor for the city of Kassel from 1954 to 1957. She was the first salaried city councilor in Hesse.
