Edmar Peron

Edmar Peron (born March 4, 1965 in Maringá , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Paranaguá .

Life

Archbishop Jaime Luiz Coelho ordained him on July 23, 1989 as a deacon and on January 21, 1990 as a priest of the Archdiocese of Maringá .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on December 30, 2009 auxiliary bishop in São Paulo and titular bishop of Mattiana . The old archbishop of Maringá, Jaime Luiz Coelho, donated him episcopal ordination on February 28 of the following year ; Co- consecrators were Anuar Battisti , Archbishop of Maringá, and Cardinal Odilo Pedro Scherer , Archbishop of São Paulo. As a motto he chose UT FACIAM VOLUNTATEM TUAM .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Paranaguá on November 25, 2015 .
