Edmund von Flemming
Edmund Friedrich Ferdinand Graf von Flemming (born September 2, 1827 in Arnsberg , † September 17, 1897 in Buckow ) was the owner of the manor and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Edmund von Flemming was a descendant of the old Pomeranian noble family Flemming . His parents were Karl von Flemming and his wife Wilhelmine Charlotte von Hardenberg . He had been married to Clementine Wilhelmine Anna Günther since June 24, 1866 .
He studied in Leipzig and became a member of the Corps Saxonia there . Later he lived mainly in Erfurt and on his estate, Schloss Crossen , whose maintenance and expansion he endeavored.
From 1878 to 1881 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Merseburg 8 ( Naumburg , Weißenfels , Zeitz ) and the National Liberal Party .
