Eduard Böhmer (politician)

Eduard Theodor Böhmer (born August 29, 1829 in Telgte , † December 23, 1872 in Neuwied ) was a German judge and member of the Reichstag .

Life

Eduard Böhmer began to study law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In 1849 he became active in the Corps Franconia Munich . When he was inactive, he moved to the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin . Then he hit the legal civil service career. He completed his career as a trainee lawyer , assessor and court commissioner in Münster , Warendorf , Dorsten and in the Hohenzollernsche Lands . Finally, from 1867 to 1872, Böhmer was a district judge in Neuwied.

From 1871 to 1872 Böhmer represented the constituency of Koblenz 2 ( Neuwied ) in the German Reichstag . There he belonged to the National Liberals. During this time Böhmer was secretary.

From 1867 to 1872 he was elected twice to the Prussian House of Representatives. In the 10th electoral term he belonged there to the left center and then in the 11th electoral term to the National Liberals until his death. Both times Böhmer represented the constituency of Koblenz 2 administrative district ( Altenkirchen (Westerwald) and Neuwied ).
