Eduard Bürklein
Eduard Bürklein (* 1816 in Dinkelsbühl ; † 1871 in Munich ) was, like his brother Georg Friedrich Christian Bürklein, a versatile architect and engineer in the Bavarian region. Among other things, he built the town hall of Fürth in the arched style from 1840 to 1844 . The tower of the town hall is modeled on the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence and is one of the city's landmarks .
He is one of Friedrich von Gärtner's students . Most recently he was employed as a district engineer at the General Management of the Royal Bavarian Transport Authority. He died in Munich in 1871.
