Eduard Francke (lawyer)

Eduard Francke (born January 16, 1842 in Schwerin , † July 17, 1917 in Berlin ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Francke, the son of a pharmacist, attended grammar school in Schwerin . After leaving school, he studied law at the universities of Jena , Leipzig , Heidelberg , Berlin , Rostock and Kiel . During his studies he became a member of the Teutonia Jena fraternity in 1860 . He practically worked in the judiciary and administration, was a lawyer and notary in Flensburg for 8 years and then became a judge in Berlin.

From 1879 to 1893 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives as a representative of the Tondern district. From 1887 to 1903 he was a member of the party executive of the National Liberal Party . From 1884 to 1890 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the province of Schleswig-Holstein 4 Tondern , Husum , Eiderstedt and the National Liberal Party.
