Eduard Giese
Eduard Giese (born March 17, 1848 in Gotha , † September 16, 1916 in Oschatz ) was a German judge. He sat in the Reichstag (German Empire) .
Life
Giese visited the Ernestinum Gotha . He studied law at the universities in Jena and Leipzig and was then a trainee lawyer in Dresden , Lengenfeld , Grimma and Leipzig. In 1879 he became an assessor in Sebnitz and from October 1, 1879 to a district judge. From 1887 he was chief magistrate in Oschatz, since 1902 chief judicial officer and since 1910. He was also a member of the church council in Oschatz and several other public associations.
Giese was a member of the Reichstag for the 11th Saxon constituency from October 1889 to 1893 and from 1907 to 1916.
