Eduard Moritz von Kries
Eduard Moritz von Kries (* July 28, 1802 in Ostrowitt , Löbau district , West Prussia ; † December 4, 1889 in Oliva near Danzig ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer and district president of Gumbinnen in the province of East Prussia .
Life
Moritz studied law in Berlin and Königsberg i. Pr. From 1824 he worked as an auscultator for two years. He then worked as a trainee lawyer at the Higher Regional Court in Marienwerder (West Prussia) .
Before he took up the post of district president, Motz was vice president of the government in the province of Poznan .
