Eduard Schulz (pianist)
Eduard Schulz (* 1813 in Vienna , † 1876 in London ) was an Austro-British pianist and poet.
Live and act
Eduard Schulz already performed as a child together with his brother, the guitarist Leonhard Schulz , all over Europe, including in Düsseldorf , London and Berlin . Like his brother, he was considered a child prodigy .
In 1830 he moved to England with his brother, where he worked for several years as music director of the Duke of Devonshire .
Under the pseudonym Edouard Ferrand, he published poems in 1834, some of which were set to music by several composers such as Johannes Brahms and Ernst Hermann Seyffardt .
