Eduard Draw (historian)
Eduardzug (born January 4, 1896 in Frankfurt am Main , † November 13, 1945 there ) was a German historian .
Life
After graduating from the Lessing-Gymnasium (Frankfurt am Main) , he studied history, Romance studies and German studies at the University of Lausanne from the summer semester of 1914 . In 1914 he became a war volunteer . From 1918 he continued his studies at the universities of Frankfurt am Main, Heidelberg and Munich . After receiving his doctorate in 1921 as Dr. phil. and state exams in German, French and history. In 1921/22 he was an assistant at the history seminar at the University of Frankfurt am Main (during the inflationary period he decided against a university career and entered the higher education service). From 1925 he was a teacher at the Model School in Frankfurt am Main.
