Edvin Kanka Ćudić ( Cyrillic  Едвин Канка Ћудић ; December 31, 1988 in Brčko , Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnia-Herzegovinian human rights activist , journalist , master of martial arts and political scientist . He achieved best fame as the head of the UDIK , an organization that campaigns for human rights and reconciliation in the former Yugoslavia.

Edvin Kanka Cudic was in Brcko born and in Brcko and Gračanica grew up. He studied in Sarajevo and Istanbul . He has lived in Sarajevo since 2008 . He is a master of the Japanese martial arts Jūjutsu and Jūdō . He was a Jūjutsu teacher in the martial arts schools in Donji Žabar and Gornji Zovik near Brčko.

Ćudić has been a coordinator at the UDIK since 2013 . As such, he researches, publishes and presents documents related to war crimes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is also working on the registration of memorials dedicated to the victims of the wars in the countries of the former Yugoslavia .

He faces frequent threats from nationalists from all ethnic groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina .

Ćudić is a signatory of the declaration published in 2017 on the common language of Croatians , Serbs , Bosniaks and Montenegrins .
