Edward Delavan Perry
Edward Delavan Perry (born December 20, 1854 in Troy , † March 28, 1938 in New York City ) was an American classical philologist .
Life
He earned an AB from Columbia University in 1875 and a Dr. phil. in Tübingen . He taught as a professor of Sanskrit (1891–1895) and Jay Professor of Greek and Latin (1895–1931).
