Edward Winterhalder (* 1955 in New England ) is an American writer, television producer and entrepreneur who has written seven books on outlaw motorcycle gangs and the Harley-Davidson scene to date . He is considered one of the world's leading authorities in the field of rocker culture.

Life

Winterhalder was born in New England and raised in Connecticut . In 1975 he moved to Oklahoma after serving in the United States Army . In Oklahoma he joined the Rogues Motorcycle Club and was a confidante of the Bandidos Club based there for 20 years .

In 1997 Winterhalder founded a chapter of the Bandidos in Oklahoma and was the driving force behind the recording of the Canadian rocker club Rock Machine , which joined the Bandidos in a patch-over in 2000 . In 2003 he left the Bandidos to spend time with his family and to advance his business. Winterhalder has been writing and editing books on rocker culture since 2005. He also produces TV shows and DVDs that also deal with this scene. He is the inventor and producer of the television series Biker Chicz , Phass Mob and Living on the Edge

As a consultant, he was consulted by various television stations when their programs were about rocker culture. He has worked for and for Fox News (USA), the Discovery Channel (USA), National Geographic and Nat Geo (USA, Australia, United Kingdom and New Zealand), History Television (Canada), the History Channel (USA & Australia), Global TV (Canada), Prime TV (New Zealand) and CBC can be seen and advised.

Winterhalder was also involved as a writer on the same program of The Word ( Bravo ), in which Joanne K. Rowling also appeared. He also has regular appearances on the Canadian television series Outlawe Biker . He has already been quoted by Seattle Weekly , the Austin Chronicle , the Sunshine Coast Daily in Australia and the British Guardian . UCW Radio broadcast a detailed interview with him in 2011. This was led by Louis Velazquez .
