Edwin Hunter

Edwin Llewellyn Hunter (born March 25, 1874 in Fond du Lac , Wisconsin , † March 30, 1935 in St. Joseph , Michigan ) was an American tennis player .

biography

Hunter was living in Chicago at the time of the 1904 Summer Olympics . He took part in tennis and golf tournaments. In tennis doubles he did not get past the second round with Frank Wheaton as a partner after a bye at the start, where they were subject to Clarence Gamble and Arthur Wear . In the individual he has not raced for. In golf , he didn't make it beyond qualification.

After exercising, Hunter became a doctor and attended Hahneman Medical College. He was employed by the Kawneer Company . In 1923 he moved to southwest Michigan. He practiced in Niles until shortly before his death .
