Edwin Rosner

Edwin Rosner (born September 21, 1910 in Vienna , † June 26, 2011 in St. Gilgen ) was an Austrian doctor .

Life

Rosner received his doctorate in medicine from the University of Vienna in 1935 or 1939 . During the Second World War, Rosner was " on duty in various theaters of war as a senior staff doctor ". He then took over "in November 1945, he took over the practice in Bischofshofen and then settled in Rauris on September 11, 1946 ". There he became a district doctor and founded a house pharmacy in 1969. In 1971 he received the title of "Medical Councilor"; later he became an "honorary citizen of the market town of Rauris". Rosner wrote numerous scientific papers on the history of medicine .
